Delran Schools and Homes of Living Hope

From 2014 to 2016, students from Delran High School transformed a used shipping container into a beautiful library for rural Uganda’s Hope Lives Elementary school. This school of about 500 students runs without power, making books a critical part of their learning.  This library also included space for the school’s first PCs which run on a generator. Click on the video below of founder, Bart Wear, showing off the space and explaining the impact on the Ugandan school.

The DelranSTEM Ecosystem Alliance is a network of collaborating organizations, led by Delran Schools, with the goal of improving STEM learning & access for students and the larger Delran and Burlington County, NJ community.
